5 easy Ways to contribute to a Greener Future

And the best thing about these Tips? They also help you save a few bucks that you can spent on super delicious vegan chocolate!
We all know the typical tips to turn off the tab while brushing your teeth (srsly. who even keeps the water running?!), take the bus or walk instead of driving with your car and don't use air contitioning/ the heater 24/7, but there is so much more to it!

1. Don't shower everyday
Besides the fact, that showering everyday strips the natural oils out of your hair and leaves it dull, dry abd frizzy and ruins your skin it also wrastes a lot of water (obviously). I am currently trying to shower max. 3 times a week. My hair is amazingly shiny and my skin is glowing! And for everyone that claims that their hair is getting greasy in a matter of hours: try to not wash your hair for 14 days straight, sounds crazy but it'll work wonders!!
You should also be aware of what's inside of your products, try using organic shower-gels and shampoos, they tend to make your hair a lot less greasy and keep it fresh longer!

2.Use recycling toilet paper
The number one wraste of paper/trees?! It is your bum! Try buying the recycled version of your favorite toilet paper and try not using a ton of it, simple as that.

3. Use refillable bottles and filter your own water
Now I am lucky to live in a city with very clean water, So I can simply drink the water out of the tab, but even if you can't you can filter your own water, even on the go.
And the best thing: You don't have to buy water, you may need to invest in a water filter or a reusable water bottle, but in the long run you will save a lot of money by simply not needing to buy water since it is already running out of your tab at home, would be stupid not to use it wouldn't it?!

4. Be aware of what you buy
What's inside, where does it cone from, who might have been harmed in the process of making it, what harmful ingredients might be in there?! There are many questions about the products you buy. My advice: Try to buy products with ingredients you know and are environnmental friendly and "kind" (No animals were harmed by making and testing it).

6. Meatless Monday/ Dairy free tuesday
Or even more than that! You know those 80/20 rules? Try a 80/20 Vegan Diet! You don't need to cut out anything that you are fearing to miss. On the other hand you can ease your way into it and understand fully why the animal-product-industry is not what it used to be and what meat and its components are actually doing to your body (do I hear a "Antibioticsresistance" in the distance, oh sure I do!).
