Murchison and the Buller Gorge Swingbridge

Murchison

When entering Murchison you come across this beautiful waterfall. We were planning on having a picknick, but the sandflies made us change that plan pretty fast, instead of spending our lunch time there we just ran out to the viewpoint, took a few snaps and sprinted back to the car. Gotta love sandflies.

Murchison is by far the cutest old-school wetsern town I have seen so far!

We checked into the Riverside Camping park for 20$ a night for two nights, it is a super cute camping spot and the owners are the cutest. We had a kitchen, power, running water and a shelter for the rainy day that we decided would be our down day. The next day we went to the Buller Gorge Swingbridge and Adventure Park.
The Swingbridge is 10$ but totally worth it, the park is mainly rainforest and a few sights of the old goldminers village.

The walks are pretty short so you can explore the whole park in a matter of a few hours.

They rebuilt the Goldminers cottage which was pretty awesome to see and walk through.

Needless to say, we had an awesome day exploring and messing around in the park.
