Northland, our last few stops in New Zealand

This Blogpost is somehow really hard for me to write, flicking through the pictures deciding which ones to share with you made me realize how beautiful New Zealand is and how dearly I want to go back. Our last few weeks we spent travelling Auckland and Northland were incredibly beautiful. We had everything, from cliff beaches to Kauri forest.
Come along this somewhat nostalgic blogpost!

After arriving in Auckland and beeing greeted by pouring rain we decided to stick around and stay at the  Fat Cat Backpackers Auckland. Fat Cat was awesome, I have met so many nice people, which I'd love to meet again, eaten so much good, vegan food and did so many awesome things, such as Yoga, singing, meditation etc..

After sticking around for a little while we decided to go ahead and explore the city for a little bit.

The first stop was the beautiful Manukau Heads Lighthouse which enabled us a beautiful view over the sea and the setting sun.

We the ventured out  to Pukematekeo to see the Auckland skyline, the view was sadly a little bit foggy.

The further away we drove from Auckland the better the Nature got.  At Muriwai Beach we could not only see Blowholes, but also stalk some surfers.

New Zealand has a lot of Black Sand beaches. Black sand is pretty impressive if you ask me, it took me hours to understand why the sand is black. To put it simple: The rocks in the ocean are black, so there is black sand, if the rocks are white, there is white sand.

The Campingspot for the night was right by a beautiful beach named Whatipu, that is definitely worth a visit.

We nearly spent over 3 hours there just climbing the dunes and exploring the beach.

Moving on into Northland a little further we saw the prettiest public toiltes ever, the Hundertwasser Toilets.

Along the highway we spottet some awesome looking dunes, so of course we took a break from driving and explored a little.

And of course the Kauri Trees! Along the Westcoast are many Kauri forests, so we decided to visit some and of course see the biggest Kauri Tree, the Yakas.

And that was it, These were our New Zealand Adventures! I cannot believe how fast it has flown by, I will do a few Post New Zealand posts, telling you what was our favourite Stop, City and Camping Spot and any questions you leave in the comments (Honestly ask away, everything!).
Also on Saturday my New Project will be lounching so keep your eyes peeled for this one, I will be posting it on all of my social media, which you can fin in the top bar and on here of course!
I hope you are all having an amazing week,
Love: Kiki ♥
